1. Information we collect

Golden Years Dog Care collects only the minimum information necessary to deliver helpful senior dog organizational tools, printable care sheets, and caregiver guidance.

  • Voluntary form entries: When you request our Free Medication Card, Senior Dog Care Binder updates, or submit a message through our contact page, we collect your name and email address.
  • Calculator interactions: When you calculate your senior dog's equivalent age or life stage, the values (age and breed size) are processed directly in your browser. We do not store your dog's individual medical details or name on our servers unless you choose to email them to yourself.
  • Technical access data: We collect basic browser information, general country-level location, device type, and visited pages to ensure the website renders quickly and legibly.

2. How we use your information

Every detail you share has a clear, straightforward purpose tied directly to supporting your daily caregiving routines:

Delivering requested printables

Sending downloadable medication schedules, vet visit agendas, and pet-sitter instructions straight to your inbox.

Caregiver email updates

Occasional educational guides, new printable binder sheets, and senior dog organizational tips for dogs aged 8 and older.

Responding to inquiries

Answering support messages, organizational feedback, and requests sent through our contact form.

Improving site readability

Analyzing which care checklists are most helpful so we can simplify and expand our printable library.

3. Cookies and analytics

We use small text files called cookies to help our website load efficiently and to measure general website performance.

Essential cookies: These ensure form submissions function properly and security verifications run smoothly.

Performance analytics: We use privacy-conscious analytics tools to see total reader views and popular topics. IP addresses are anonymized, and behavior is evaluated in aggregate rather than individually.

You can instruct your web browser to refuse cookies or alert you when a cookie is sent. Our core articles and calculators will remain fully readable even with cookies disabled.

4. Data retention and storage

We retain contact information only as long as you wish to remain a member of our caregiver community or receive printable updates.

  • Email lists: Kept active until you click unsubscribe or request total removal. Inactive subscribers who do not open emails for extended periods are periodically purged.
  • Contact form inquiries: Retained for up to 12 months in a secure inbox to maintain context for follow-up assistance, then deleted.
  • Security standards: All transmissions use 256-bit SSL encryption. Access to subscriber records is restricted to authorized site maintainers.

5. Your rights and data removal

You maintain complete ownership of your personal information. At any time, you are welcome to:

Request complete deletion

Ask us to wipe your email address and any submitted records from our mailing providers and message archives.
